Summary
A direct-manipulation canvas — objects, layers, snapping, transforms and export — built to understand how design tools work from the inside rather than to replace one.

What it is

A canvas editor: an object model, a viewport with pan and zoom, hit-testing, selection and transform handles, snapping guides, layers, and export.

Why build one

Design tools make hard problems look trivial. Building the viewport transform stack, the hit-testing pass and the snapping heuristics from scratch is the fastest way to learn why those tools behave the way they do — and that knowledge shows up directly in the dense product interfaces elsewhere in this portfolio.
