I am Adams Eugene, a software engineer in Accra, Ghana. During the day I lead the front end at Pilgrim Consultancy on Heatmap, an e-commerce analytics platform — revenue attributed to every element, conversion funnels, session replay, and the instrumentation that makes all three trustworthy.

The rest of the time I build the products collected here. It started as client work — a laundry, a school, a clinic — and turned into something more deliberate once the same problems kept reappearing: stock that nobody trusts, a till that stops when the network does, records spread across three notebooks and a WhatsApp thread.

TallyhubGH is the clearest expression of that: a commerce platform with 61 screens, 572 server routes and 76 data models, shipping as a web app, an installable PWA and a desktop binary, with an on-device model answering questions about the business without sending a byte anywhere.

Two of those products are live today:TallyhubGHfor commerce, and Kernvofor banking surfaces. Zyntlow exists so the rest of the work reads as what it is — a practice with a consistent way of building — rather than a list of repositories.

    The independent practice, and the products on this site. Alongside them, contract work for Ghanaian businesses — a savings-and-loans institution, a poultry farm, a beauty retailer, schools, salons and a church administration — which is where most of the offline-first and multi-tenant thinking was paid for before it became a product.

    Lead front end on Heatmap, an e-commerce behavioural analytics platform: a 500-component Vue application rendering revenue-attributed heatmaps, conversion funnels and session replay, with visual element selection for custom event tracking, AI-assisted insight generation, and IndexedDB caching to keep large recordings responsive. Integrations out to Mixpanel, Amplitude, Intercom, HubSpot and Slack.

    A school-management progressive web app built to keep working without a connection — React and TypeScript on the surface, SQLite compiled to WebAssembly underneath so records persisted in the browser rather than waiting on a server.

How we work

Six positions, held consistently

These are not aspirations. Each one has cost something to hold, which is how you know it is real.

Correctness before polish

A receipt that prints the wrong total is worse than an ugly one. Money paths get invariants, idempotency and audit trails first; animation comes after.

Assume the network fails

Every product is designed for the moment connectivity drops mid-transaction. Local-first storage, replay queues and explicit sync state are defaults, not features.

One codebase, many surfaces

Web, installable app, desktop binary and second customer-facing screen should share logic. Platform differences belong behind a utility layer.

Density is a feature

Operators live in these screens for eight hours. Keyboard flows, tabular numbers and information density beat generous whitespace in the tools that run a business.

Own the whole stack

Schema, API, client, desktop packaging and deploy pipeline. Understanding the seams is what makes the hard bugs findable.

Build for where you are

Built in Ghana for businesses that run on intermittent power, shared devices and mobile money — constraints that produce better software everywhere.
